U.S. Post Offices will not be closed any additional days as a result of President Trump giving some federal workers extra days off on Wednesday and Friday for the Christmas holidays.
An official at the Salem Post Office reports they will follow the same schedule as in the past. There will be home delivery on Christmas Eve, but window service at the post office will end early at noon. Post offices will be completely closed on Thursday, with no home mail delivery. Regular home mail service and window hours will be observed on Friday and Saturday.
