Randy Behnke, 67, of Iuka, passed away peacefully at his home on May 19th, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 31st, 1958, to Robert and Betty (Pease) Behnke in Flora, Illinois.
Randy married the love of his life, Brenda Sue Albert of Iuka, in 1982. Together, they shared 44 wonderful years of marriage and built a loving family with four children. Randy spent many years as a truck driver, but he was truly a farmer at heart. After retirement, his greatest joy was spending time with his family and his beloved fur babies, Jack, Ally, Chief, and Bud. He also loved to mow and took pride in caring for his home and yard.
Randy is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Behnke; his daughters, Paula (Tony) Edgeworth, Stephanie (Greg) Slater, Melissa Arnold, and Tracy (Creed) Lane; his best friend: Richard Arnold; his sister: Judy Robertson; his brother: Roger Behnke; and his nephew, Chad Robertson. He also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Betty Behnke; his sisters: Janet and Vivian; and his beloved fur babies, Teddy, Coco, Butterfly, and Benji.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 pm on May 28th, 2026, at Iuka Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to City of Salem Animal Control and will be accepted at Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home, PO Box 97, Salem, Illinois 62881.
