Pamela Lee Watts passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on January 10, 1965, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Pamela is the daughter of Carl Lee Keef and Clara (Tapp) Dismore. Pamela married Benjamin Watts on November 4, 1994, and he survives in Centralia.
Other survivors include her mother, Clara Dismore, her beloved children, Zackary Watts and Danielle Watts, both of Dix, and her dear brother, Jeffrey Keef (Stacey) of Walnut Hill. She also leaves behind her cherished nephew, Justin Keef (Jacy) of Walnut Hill, her adored niece, Jordyn Hahn (Kyle) of Virginia, and great nieces and great nephews: Karolina Keef, Navy Keef, Banks Keef, Jace Hahn, and Eli Hahn.
Preceding her in death were her father, Carl Lee Keef, and her grandparents, Earl and Grace Keef, and Earl Douglas and Alma Tapp, all of whom she held close to her heart.
Pamela dedicated 16 years of her life to serving the community through her work at the Warren G. Murray Center in Centralia, Illinois. Her compassionate nature touched the lives of many. She also shared her talents and warm presence at the Fur Barn, Brookside Florist, the National Grocery Store, and owned and operated her own Daycare at her home.
A woman of many talents and interests, Pamela found joy in playing bingo, where she was known for wearing festive elf shoes and a hat while calling numbers during Christmas. She cherished the company of others, enjoyed traveling, and had a deep love for animals.
Visitation will be held at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia, Illinois, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Family, friends, and community members are invited to celebrate Pamela’s life and share in the memories of her warmth and kindness.
