The Salem Lady Wildcats dropped their conference road game at Freeburg 44-31. Salem had opportunities but couldn’t score consistently and also put the Midgets on the free throw line too many times as Freeburg was 17-of-29 from the line while Salem was just 6-of-8. Kale Benjamin led Salem with 10, Lauren Burge added 7. The Lady Cats host Centralia tomorrow starting with the JV game at 3 and the varsity at 4:30 as part of Mega Day/Pink Out at B.E. Gum.
Sandoval honored their seniors last night and dominated Webber 58-31. Amiya Ray got her 18th double/double of the season going for 30 points and 12 rebounds. Jena Howell added 13 and Maddie Starr 7. It’s the 18th win of the year for the Lady Blackhawks.
