A Centralia home was damaged by an electrical fire Thursday night.
Centralia City Firefighters say light smoke was showing from the rear of the Linda Webster home at 606 Rhodes Street on their arrival. The source of the fire was found in an electrical conduit from the solar system at the home. All sources of power were turned off.
Firemen had to open a section of the outside wall, an inside wall, and take down a small portion of the ceiling to make sure the fire had not spread. Overall damage to the home was reported to be minor.
