Harold Eugene Robinson (Gene), 78, passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2026, just short of his date of birth, January 15.
He was the firstborn and son of Clarence Linden (C.L.) and Ann Nell (Mullenax) Robinson. Born in Salem, IL, he was the brother of Mary Anne and Judy. Married to his first wife, Linda, he fathered two children, Nathan and Lindsey. Gene attended Central School for elementary school and Salem Junior High, and graduated from SCHS in 1965. He attended Eastern Illinois University and volunteered (prior to being drafted) for the Air Force, where he served almost 20 years as an air traffic controller, leaving for many more years of government service.
There was no formal service.
