Ashley Finney, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the age of 35.
Born on April 6, 1990, in Centralia, she is the daughter of Misty (Becker) McAbee and Marc Finney. She held a special place in her heart for her father, Ted McAbee, who helped raise her.
Ashley is survived by her mother, Misty McAbee and husband Ted of Irvington; father, Marc Finney, and wife Tisha of Centralia; her significant other, Scott Glasgow of Centralia; her pride and joys: Brooke Kozuszek and Collin Kozuszek, both of Woodlawn, and Wayne Finney of Irvington; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her siblings: Randy Finney (Treniece) of Irvington, Kari Amburgey of Irvington, Kameron Finney, Tyler Finney, and Connor Finney, all of Centralia. Ashley leaves behind her grandparents, Janet and Terry Finney, and Darrell Ehler, all of Centralia; her uncles: Dusty Franklin (Kimberly) of Walnut Hill and Chance Ehler of Centralia.
Preceding her in death were her grandmother, Margaret Ehler, and her uncle, Shawn Becker.
Ashley was a talented artist who loved to draw. She also enjoyed fishing and watching true crime movies. Ashley will be remembered for her creativity, her unwavering love for her children, family, and her bright spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home in Centralia, offering a time for loved ones to gather and remember Ashley’s life. A Private Graveside will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to her children’s college funds.
