Both Salem and Centralia city officials have announced there will be no garbage pickup on Thursday, July 4th.
In Salem, Thursday trash and landscape waste pickup will both be on Friday. In Centralia, Thursday trash pickup will be on Friday and Friday pickup on Saturday.
Both city halls, area courthouses, as well as most federal and state offices will be closed on Thursday for Independence Day. There will be no home mail delivery and financial institutions will be closed.
All government offices are scheduled to reopen on Friday.
