The Salem Lady Wildcats varsity softball dropped 2 tough games at West Frankfort in summer league action. Salem lost to West Frankfort 9-8 on a walk-off hit. Bria Murray struck out 5 in the circle. Izzy Decker had 3 hits for Salem with Nat Lee, Katee Sellers and Kendall Zimmermann added 2 each.
Salem lost to Harrisburg 9-2. Alli Thurman pitched and struck out 2. Decker had a 2 run triple with hits also from Marah Johnson and Talya Gowler.
