Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) has announced an agreement has been reached with Illinois Aetna to allow those covered by the insurance to continue to receive services on an in-network rate.
The current agreement was set to terminate on July 1st.
HSHS will be notifying patients that Aetna members and any appointments that had been paused can be scheduled at all HSHS facilities in Illinois. The agreement includes nine HSHS Illinois hospitals, including St. Joseph Hospitals in Breese and Highland as well as at the Greenville hospital as well as Prairie Cardiovascular and HSHS Medical Group clinics.
