Police Beat for Wednesday, October 18th, 2023

Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 37-year-old Curtis Branch of State Route 37 in Salem for alleged domestic battery.  He was taken to the Marion County Jail following an early Wednesday morning incident at his home.

22-year-old Kimberlyn Henson of South Spruce in Patoka was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies following a single-vehicle traffic crash Tuesday.   She was taken to the Marion County Jail for alleged driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no mandatory insurance.   Henson was later released on a notice to appear in court.

Salem Police arrested 29-year-old Miranda Davis of Hillside Drive in Effingham on a Marion County major traffic warrant.  Bond was set at $5,000.

29-year-old Jacob Schleuter of Decatur was transferred back to the Marion County Jail on an outstanding felony warrant.   Bond was set at $10,000.
