A now former employee of One Hope United was charged in Marion County Court on Tuesday with two Class One Felony charges of criminal sexual assault to a person under the age of 18 with whom he held a position of trust.
Centralia Police say Trevor Gyorkos of Bel Air Drive was an employee of One Hope United when he allegedly committed sexual acts with a 16-year-old female resident of the facility. The court charges site two different sex acts that occurred between May and July of this year. Police reports indicate Gyorkos had left One Hope United in August.
Judge Mark Stedelin ordered Gyorkos held without bond under the new pre-trial release law based on a real and present threat and safety to a person or persons in the community and has alleged history of sexual activity with teenagers.
A public defender was appointed to represent Gyorkos. A preliminary hearing in the case is set for November 7th.
