A 28-year-old now former employee of One Hope United in Centralia has been arrested by Centralia Police for aggravated criminal sexual assault of a 16-year-old resident of the facility.

Trevor Gyorkos of Bell Aire Drive was taken into custody after being interviewed by a detective at the Marion County Probation Office on Monday.

Police say the alleged incident occurred in July when Gyorkos was an employee and was reported by both One Hope United and the Department of Children and Family Services after the alleged victim came forward. Police reports indicate the incident did not occur at One Hope United.

The alleged victim was interviewed at the Amy Center as part of the follow-up investigation that led to Gyorkos being entered as a person of interest.

Gyorkos was taken to the Marion County Jail where he is being held pending a decision on formal charges by the State’s Attorney’s office.
