A 29-year-old Centralia man was arrested by Centralia Police for alleged domestic battery. Richard Atchison II of East 15th was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 52-year-old Marjorie Woodward of Hoots Chapel Road in Salem on a felony failure to appear warrant for aggravated battery and resisting arrest. She remained in custody in lieu of $25,000 bond.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a pistol and saw from a shop at a home on Rebecca Lane in rural Walnut Hill.
