Salem XC Shows Well At Centralia Invitational On Saturday

The Salem Cross Country team competed at Foundation Park in Centralia on Saturday.

The boys were 3^rd behind Mount Vernon and Carbondale. Hunter Malan and Caiden Beer finished right by each other at 6 and 7, Robby Shober 15, Alex Spencer 24 and Branson Pappas 40. The boys’ race featured 10 teams and 67 runners.

Maci Thorsen was 11^th for the girls out of 63 runners with Breanna Thurman 14^th.

Both teams compete this Saturday for the Cahokia Conference title ran at Randolph County State Park near Chester.
