The Marion County Fair has a new Junior Miss.
Aubri Landreth of Patoka won the title over the other 14 girls in the competition.
“I screamed really loud because I know my grandmother would be really proud of me if she was here. I don’t know, I’m really excited and nervous, all the emotions at once.”
Landreth is looking forward to serving as Marion County’s Junior Miss.
“I am so excited for this year. Really super duper excited. I am looking forward to most riding on top of the derby car because I love watching the demolition derby. ”
Landreth is 13 and will be entering the eighth grade at Patoka. She has performed on stage multiple times and loves to volunteer. Landreth said she thought it was time to get out of her comfort zone and put on a dress. Landreth also won for Best in Communications.
