Salem Police are investigating both a vehicle burglary and the theft of a security camera.
Police report a vehicle parked in the 800 block of East Lyford was broken into sometime before Thursday morning. A stereo system was stolen and the vehicle ransacked.
Police report a security camera was stolen from the front porch of a home in the 500 block of South College. The wires for the camera were left behind.
