Bond was set at $100,000 apiece in Washington County Court at Nashville for three men charged with Class X felony drug charges following a Wednesday evening vehicle and foot chase from Centralia into the Irvington area.
The driver of the vehicle, 25-year-old Frank Purtty, and the two passengers, 28-year-old Ronnie Mottley and 33-year-old Marquis Terrell Davis, were each charged with Class X felonies of unlawful possession of 100 to 400 grams of meth with intent to deliver, possession with intent to deliver 100 to 400 grams of fentanyl, and possession of 15 to 100 grams of cocaine with intent to deliver.
Centralia Police say the car sped away at speeds more than 100 miles per hour when leaving Centralia on US 51. The car drove off the road and became disabled in a ditch at US 51 and the Irvington Road. All three ran with one going into an unoccupied home and another into a vacant structure.
All three were tracked down with the help of both Centralia canines. A total of 321 grams of meth, 68 grams of cocaine, and 142.5 grams of fentanyl were recovered. The drugs were found in the unoccupied home and the vehicle.
All three had preliminary hearings set for May 9th and a jury trial for June 20th.
