The Salem Lady Wildcats saw their 12 point lead early in the 2nd quarter dwindle down as the game went on and Flora came back to knock off the Lady Cats at B.E. Gum 59-50. Salem led 16-6 after the opening quarter and took an early 12 point lead in the 2nd, but Flora would chip away and trailed just 28-25 at the halftime break. They were led by Senior Lanie Carder who finished with 27 points. Salem put 3 in double figures with Emma Gregg and Alesia Keller finishing with 14 and Jordan Kessler 12. The Lady Cats will honor their lone senior Alesia Keller on Thursday night before finishing the regular season with a home game against Wood River before opening regionals at Marshall on Saturday.
The SC Lady Cougars got a nice win knocking off Christ Our Rock on the road 42-36. The Stallions led through the first half taking a 17-13 lead at the halftime break, but that was a SC advantage of 27-26 after three quarters. Taegan Webster led SC with 14 and Brooklyn Garrett added 13. Bianca Adubato as most of the offense for Christ Our Rock finishing with 20.
