Area law enforcement agencies report road conditions have returned to near normal driving conditions following heavy snow that hit the area earlier this morning.
The winter storm warning officially ended at noon.
The Salem Water Treatment Plant reported three inches of snow on the ground and a half inch of melted precipitation.
The Centralia Water Treatment Plant recorded 2 and a quarter inches of snow that melted down to 62-hundredths of an inch.
The heavy wet snow was short-lived, especially on the roads as temperatures just dropped to freezing for a few hours before warming up again above freezing.
