The Salem Wildcats ran into a buzz-saw at Wesclin as the Warriors hit 12 three pointers, and another 3 old-fashioned “and ones”, and their 6-6 junior Seth Macke had a day with 20 points as the Warriors improved to 15-8 with their 69-46 victory. Salem hit 8 three’s of their own, but it wasn’t enough. The Cats got 10 points from Seth Bailey and 8 from Jairen Stroud. After Macke’s 20, Wesclin got 11 each from Grant Fridley and Chandler Mueller. The Cats return to action on Friday when they host 3rd ranked Columbia in Cahokia Conference action before heading to DuQuoin on Saturday.
Christ Our Rock is still undefeated with their 88-41 win over Patoka/Odin.
Logan Murphy scored his 1000th point as Columbia beat Waterloo 63-45.
