The SC Lady Cougars avenged an earlier loss to Altamont knocking them off in the 7th place game of the NTC Tournament 67-47. All Tournament selection Brooklyn Garrett led the way with 26 for SC followed by Taegan Webster with 20 and Brooke Cowger added 16. SC improves to 11-13 on the year as they host St Anthony tonight.
North Clay took 3rd place holding off Brownstown/St Elmo 47-41. Both teams will play again tonight in Louisville.
In the 5th place game, CHBC beat Windsor/Stew-Stras 56-52. Gracie Heckert recorded her 2nd straight triple double in the game with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for CHBC and also had 5 steals. Mady Wojcik had 19 points and 14 rebounds.
