The 3rd grade bobcats took 2nd place in the Iuka tournament this weekend.
In game 1, Salem beat Central City 28-1. Nash Mulvany and Lewis Eddy each had 6 points, Grayson Purintun 5, Kane Nix & Easton Henson each had 4, and Jasen Lindsey contributed 2 points and led the team in rebounds.
The final score of game 2 vs. Selmaville was 24-9. Eddy had 8 points, Purintun and Mulvany each had 4, Dylan Faulkner, Jasen Londsey, Hunter Hockett, and Easton Henson all had 2 points. Kobe Sheehan had several steals and assists that helped the team make their way to the championship game.
The bobcats fell to Jordan school in the final game, 18-32. Eddy scored 7 points, Mulvany had 4, Purintun contributed 3, and Kane Nix and Jasen Lindsey each had 2.
