Salem Police are investigating a Friday night armed robbery at the Spirit Shoppe package liquor store at 1242 South Broadway in Salem.
Police report the suspect entered the store, presented a knife, and demanded money from the cashier. The employee was not harmed and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately six feet tall and 200 pounds. The suspect had short black or brown facial hair and wore prescription glasses. The suspect was driving a blue Honda Civic sedan, which is believed to be in the area of a 2015 model.
So far no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
Salem Police received the call about the armed robbery at 7:47 Friday evening.
