Franklin Park Heading To Burkes Championship After Comeback Win

The Franklin Park Bobcats came back in the 4th quarter to beat Triad 33-30 to advance to the Burkes Tournament Championship in Greenville.  Salem got a put back with under a minute to go from Avery Gullion and held on from there.  Trey Clark led Salem with 11, Avery finished with 8.  Franklin Park is 19-5 on the season and will play tonight for the championship the school has never won in their 19 appearances.  Game time tonight is at 7pm as the Bobcats take on top-seed Staunton.


SC Falls In JNTC Tournament Finals

The SC Falcons dropped their Junior NTC Tournament championship to Stewardson-Strasburg 41-32.  In the loss, Westin Neilson led SC with 15, Sebastian Kruger added 10 and Luke Shumate had the other 7 points.


Patoka Earns 10th Win Of Season On 8th Grade Night

Patoka beat Willow Grove 42-38 on 8th grade night to get their 10th win of the season.  Brady Cain finished with 29 points and 16 rebounds.  Jesse Cain added 9 points and Kody Burks had 4 points and 13 rebounds.


Odin Beats NWI On 8th Grade Night

North Wamac-Irvington dropped their game at Odin 39-36.  The Eagles shot the ball well hitting 7 three’s in the game including 4 in the opening quarter.  Dameon Wooden led NWI with 10, Azlynn Witthaus-Strait and Jacob Heern had 9 each.  Odin won the JV game 41-6.


Wombles Leads Iuka In Win

Iuka beat New Horizon 51-29.  Leland Wombles had 18 points and 9 rebounds in the win.  Austin Snow had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds and Kaeden Bevolo had 15 points and dished out 6 assists.  New Horizon won the JV game 49-19.  Vince Krajefska had 5 in the loss.
