The 71st Salem Invitational Tournament tips off tonight with a pair of games on WJBD. It starts at 6:30 with Mount Vernon and Champaign Central followed at 8pm with Madison and Carbondale. Both games will be on 100.1 FM and streaming at WJBDradio.com.
The Centralia Orphans are 2-0 at West Frankfort after routing Cairo 78-25 last night. Herrin also beat West Frankfort 70-44. Tonight it’s Cairo against Herrin. Centralia will finish up play Friday night against an outstanding Herrin team at 7:30.
At the Nashville Invitational tonight it’s a pair of consolation semifinals. At 6pm, Metro East Lutheran takes on Kipp Academy followed at 7:30 by Brentwood and Marion.
At the Benton Invitational tonight, Benton and Vandalia open the night at 5:30 followed by Pinckneyville and Hamilton County and then Sesser Valier and Mounds Meridian.
