At the National Trail Girls Tournament, South Central lost to Windsor/Stew-Stras 40-35. SC led 9-4 at the end of the first but was outscored 22-8 in the frame to trail 26-17 at the half. SC is 9-12 on the year and fall into tomorrow’s consolation quarterfinal at 7pm against Dieterich.
Brownstown/St Elmo beat CHBC 47-43 to improve to 18-6 on the season and will play St Anthony Thursday night in the semifinals. CHBC is 12-7 and will play Thursday at 5:30 against the winner of SC and Dieterich.
Altamont and North Clay would play a back and forth first half until the Lady Cardinals would finish off the game 49-37 winners.
