Tonight is the opening night of the Midland Trail Conference boys tournament. Patoka/Odin will open up with a game at 8th seed Grayville. The winner will advance to play top seed Christ Our Rock tomorrow. 7th seed Sandoval will host 10th seed Red Hill. The winner will get 2nd seed Cisne tomorrow.
The Centralia Orphans will play at the 36th annual West Frankfort Mid-Winter Classic and will open tonight at 8pm against the hosts Redbirds. Centralia will then play Cairo on Tuesday and Herrin on Friday.
Today is also the opening of the 38th annual Nashville Invitational. at 3pm it’s Mascoutah and Metro East Lutheran followed by Breese Central and Brentwood, Missouri at 4:30, Nashville and Kipp Academy at 6 and then Mater Dei and Marion at 7:30.
At the 46th annual Benton Invitational tonight Vandalia opens with Hamilton County at 5:30, Pickneyville and Mounds Meridian at 7 and then Benton and Sesser Valier at 8:30.
At the Okawville Tournament, Gibault plays Okawville at 6 followed by Wesclin and Roxana.
