The Irvington/North Wamac Tournament finished up last night.
Selmaville won the championship over Sandoval for the 2nd straight year with the Rockets coming away with the win. Wyatt McCarty was named MVP for the 2nd straight year finishing with 23 points, 12 rebounds and 8 steals on the night. Logan Butts had 10 and Brendan Smith 9. The Rockets Riley Tate was also honored on the All Tournament team along with Sandoval’s Josh Gordon who finished with 14 last night and Austin Hoffman had 13.
In the 3rd place game, the host Indian Eagles knocked off Willow Grove 39-37. Dameon Wooden was named to the All Tournament team. Azalynn Witthaus-Strait had 8 points, 5 assists, 10 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Jaxon Neal added 13 points in the game to lead NWI.
