The winning ticket was sold in Maine.
There were 14 other tickets that matched all five white balls to claim a $1-million prize. One of those tickets was sold in Illinois.
The winning numbers drawn for Friday’s game were 30-43-45-46-61 and the Mega Ball number was 14. The Megaplier was 2x.
The prize was the second largest Mega Millions ever and the fourth largest jackpot in US lottery history.
