Lady Bobcats Drop Regional Semifinal To End Season
The Salem Lady Cats dropped their regional semifinal at Wesclin to Highland last night 47-36. Brylee Pennypacker led Salem with 13 and is one of 3 graduating 8th graders along with Mya Russell and Addy Lever.
Also in Class L at Wesclin, the hosts advanced to tonight’s 6pm championship with their 46-13 win over Centralia.
Nashville Dominates As they Roll To Regional Finals Matchup With Carlyle
In Class M at Okawville, the hosts beat Lebanon 63-7 and will play in the title game tonight against Maryville Christian after their 49-34 win over Aviston.
Nashville advanced to the Carlyle Regional Finals with a 47-7 win over Central City. They will play Friday against Carlyle who beat Breese District 12 42-22
New Horizon Wins 18th Game Of Year, Advances To Regional Finals In Class S
In Class S at Odin, New Horizon advanced to the regional finals after winning their rubber match with Selmaville last night 33-20. They improved to 18-5 on the season. Liv Torrence finished with 11 points and 13 rebounds, Annalyn Bass added 10 points and 18 rebounds. Addison Wangler added 7 off the bench. Allie Cavins led Selmaville with 13. They will get top-seed Bartelso who beat Germantown 49-21. The regional finals will be played tomorrow night at 6pm in Odin.
At Summersville, Woodlawn opened with a 59-4 win over Mt Vernon St Marys, Raccoon beat Opdyke 35-28, Summersville over Irvington 46-13, Bethel beat Spring Garden 44-33.
