Selmaville Wins Regional Opener, Will Play New Horizon For Trip to Championship

In Class S, Selmaville won their opener beating Patoka 39-20.  Last year’s state runner-up Lady Rockets got 17 from Allie Hustedde and 9 from Karly Veach.  Selmaville advances to the Odin semifinals tonight at 7:15 when they play New Horizon who opened with a 44-12 win over Odin.  Bartelso beat Sandoval 70-6 and will play Germantown tonight at 6 after their 38-24 win over Hoyelton Trinity/St Marys.

At Bluford last night, Rome beat Cisne 42-12, St Joe Olney over Bluford 36-33.

In Class M at Okawville, the hosts take on Lebanon followed by Aviston and Maryville Christian.  At Carlyle, Nashville plays Central City at 5 followed by Carlyle and Breese at 6:30.

In Class S at Summersville it’s Bethel and Spring Garden at 4:30, Woodlawn and Mount Vernon St Mary’s at 5:45, Summersville and Irvington-Grand Prairie at 7 followed by Opdyke and Raccoon at 8:15.  At Bluford, New Hope plays Jasper followed by Iuka and Field.
