It was opening night at the Irvington/North Wamac boys tournament. Sandoval beat Willow Grove 36-34 with Gordon scoring 12 and Williams 10 in the win. Hernandez had 16 and Smith 14 for Willow Grove in the loss.
In the 2nd game, Selmaville knocked off the hosts 39-33. Riley Tate had another monster night with 12 points, 13 rebounds and 9 blocked shots. Wyatt McCarty also had 12 points and Logan Butts finished with 8. Dameon Wooden and Cooper Teaff led the Indian Eagles with 11 each.
The tournament continues tonight with Selmaville and Ashley at 5:30 followed by Sandoval and New Horizon at 6:45.
