Salem 4th Grade Bobcats finish 3rd in Raccoon Tournament.
Salem went 3-2 in the Raccoon Tournament this weekend. In game ond Carlyle St. Marys beat Salem 4th grade in the opener 16 tp 14. Nolan Krutsinger lead with 10 pts, EJ Wolfe and Brody Brubaker both added 2 pts. Maddox LoGrasso and Maxsen Tiemann lead the team in rebounds with 5 each.
In game two Salem 4th beat Kell 20 to 8. Brody Brubaker 5 pts with 4 rebounds, EJ Wolfe, Nolan Krutsinger, Maxsen Tiemann 4 pts, Maddox LoGrasso 3 pts 6 rebounds.
Salem came out with a 21 to 8 win against Kell in game three. EJ Wolfe had 8 pts, Nolan Krutsinger and Dagan Duncan 4 pts, Brody Brubaker 3 pts and Amina Elkshirey added 2 pts. Maddox LoGrasso, Maxsen Tiemann and Quinn Honerkamp were tough under the basket and Haze Dagg had a nice assist.
Game 4 was a close battle between Salem and Selmaville with Salem taking the win 25 to 23. For Salem Wolfe lead the team with 8 pts, Tiemann 6 pts, Krutsinger 4 pts, LoGrasso 3 pts, Brubaker and Elkshirey 2 pts each. For Selmaville Kasen Harris finished with 11 pts, Isaac Knappy 10 pts and Jacob Butts added 2 pts.
Salems final game went into double overtime verse Odin. Odin came out with a late with 26 to 24. EJ Wolfe had 8 pts, Nolan Krutsinger and Maxsen Tiemann had 6 pts, Dagan Duncan and Amina Elkshirey added 2 pts each. Brody Brubaker and Maddox LoGrasso had 12 rebounds combined, while Quinn Honerkamp and Haze Dagg played tough defense.
Salem 4th Grade will head into the Kell Tournament this Thursday at 6:30pm vs Raccoon.
