We take a look at the prep girls post-season assignments. Salem will host a 2a Super Sectional. The Lady Cats will be competing in a sub-sectional trying to get to the Pana Sectional. They will be joined by teams from Fairfield, Lawrenceville, Marshall, Mt Carmel, Newton, Palestine, Robinson, Teutopolis, Vandalia and regional hosts Carmi and Flora.
Centralia is the sectional site in 3a where the Annies will compete in a sub-sectional along with Carbondale, Charleston, Effingham, Herrin, Mount Vernon, Olney and regional hosts Marion and Mattoon.
Casey Westfield will host a Sectional with teams competing in the North Clay and Neoga Regionals that will include South Central, St Elmo/Brownstown, Altamont, Casey, CHBC, Dieterich, St Anthony, Martinsville, Ramsey, Windsor/Stew-Stras and Cumberland.
