Over the weekend at the Central City Shootout, Raccoon lost to North Clay 45-35 to drop to 14-4 on the season. Tyler Carruthers led Raccoon with 8.
Patoka beat North Wamac/Irvington 49-34 with a triple double from Brady Cain as the Patoka big man went for 22 points, 13 rebounds and 10 blocked shots. Kody Burks chipped in and Quentin Faulkner had 12 points and 6 assists.
Short handed Selmaville lost to Germantown in overtime 52-48. Brendan Smith had 17 points and 5 steals, Riley Tate added 16 points 10 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. Selmaville will host Altamont Lutheran on Thursday in their final game before the New Year.
In regular season play, Woodlawn routed Waltonville 65-25 in their varsity contest. The JV game was 42-26 Woodlawn.
