The KC Blue Angels split a pair of games over the weekend. KC fell at home to Rend Lake on Saturday 71-54. In the loss, Tianna Rhodes led the Blue Angels with 13, Courtney Lumpkins added 11.
KC then beat St Louis Community College 101-45 on Sunday with 7 Blue Angels in double figures. Mackenzie Russell had 16 with 15 from Zharia Childress, Tianna Rhodes and Taylor Austin 13 each with 12 from Courtney Lumpkins, 11 from Keva Wilson and 10 out of Kamryn Pieron.
The KC Blue Devils improved to 10-4 overall 1-3 in the Region and 2-2 in the GRAC with their 66-59 win over visiting Rend Lake. Jylen Petty had 22 in the win, Jhei-R Jones added 16 and Caleb Jenkins added 14. Jackson Creel led Rend Lake with 17. The Devils and Angels both travel to SWIC on Wednesday.
