Salem Wildcats Open Season Today Versus Lawrenceville, Centralia & Patoka/Odin Continue Tournament Action

Wildcats Open Season At Capital Classic Today At 12:30

The Salem Wildcats tip off their season today as they open from the Lawrence County Capital Classic at 12:30 against the hosts.  It will be the 2nd game of the day following Red Hill and Olney at 11.  Later tonight, Olney takes on Fairfield at 6pm and Mount Carmel plays Lawrenceville at 7:30.  The Wildcats return to action tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 against Mount Carmel and will play a trophy game that evening at either 4:30, 6 or 7:30.  All Salem Wildcat games can be heard on 100.1 FM and WJBDradio.com.


Orphans Play At Roxana Semifinal Today

The Centralia Orphans will play in the first championship semifinal at the Roxana Hoopsgiving Tournament tonight at 6pm when they take on Alton Marquette.  Then Freeburg will play Gateway Legacy in the 7:30 game.

At Cumberland the day begins with the first consolation semifinal at 3 with Okaw Valley and Vandalia followed by Marshall and Newton at 4:30.  Then the first championship semifinal will be at 6 with Casey Westfield playing Dieterich followed at 7:30 by North Clay and Cumberland.

At the Wesclin/Mascoutah Tournament tonight at Mascoutah its Riverview Gardens and Collinsville followed by Mascoutah and Marion while at Wesclin it’s Nashville and SIUE Charter followed by Wesclin and Columbia.

At the St Anthony Tournament today, Robinson takes on Breese Central at 3, TTown and Mattoon at 4:30, Rantoul plays Highland at 6 and at 7:30 it’s St Anthony and Effingham.


Odin/Patoka Return To Action Tonight After Wednesday Win

Odin/Patoka won their Wednesday night game at Mulberry Grove over CHBC 63-55 they return to action tonight at 5:15 when they take on Ramsey.  Father McGivney and CHBC will follow with Mulberry Grove and St Elmo/Brownstown playing in the night cap.
