SCHS hands out fall sports awards

The SCHS Fall Sports Awards were handed out last night.  For football, Most Valuable Lineman was Rex Brashear, Jimmie Hays MVP Scout Team, Kason Sullens and Sam Greene were Co-Offensive MVPs, Frank Podergois was Most Valuable Defensive Lineman, Caleb Smith Defensive MVP, and Overall Team MVP, and Max Ambuehl was MVP of the Special Teams.

The Soccer Awards were also handed out.  The MVP was Eli Baker.  Holden Richardson was Most Improved, the HEART Award went to Caleb Purintun, Defensive Player of the Year was Keaton Gullion, Comeback Player of the Year was Andrew Tate and the Competitor/Courage Winner went to Daniyal Islam.  The Playmaker Award went to Haden Irvin.

In boys golf, All-Conference Honors went to Brogan Gregg, Cale Harris, Jairen Stroud, and Matt Slover.  Co-Most Improved went to Logan Lockhart and Ryan Detering.  The Co-Bill Morgan Consistency Award to Cale Harris and Matt Slover with Jairen Stroud named MVP.

Volleyball Awards went to Molly Smith and Jacie Reynolds for Offensive Award, Kayla Felgenhauer Defensive Award, and All-Conference, Emma Gregg Varsity most improved, Kenadie Hancock Assists, JV Most Improved was Makayla Braddy, Kale Benjamin Freshman Most Improved, Taylor Ice the Serving Award.
