Junior High Boys Basketball
Franklin Park won their 4th straight game winning at Altamont Lutheran 43-24. The Bobcats pulled away outscoring the Rockets 13-2 in the final quarter. Trey Clark led Salem with 15, Avery Gullion added 11, Payton Gullion finished with 6. Salem returns to action this weekend at the St Anthony Shootout on Saturday with games against the hosts and Greenville. The Salem JV lost 31-17. Kyler King had 10 to lead Salem.
Iuka fell to Opdyke-Belle Rive 43-39. Kaeden Bevolo had 15 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. Leland Wombles added 12 points and 7 rebounds. Iuka also fell in the JV game 48-15. Trigg Aaron and Devin Jennings had 4 for Iuka. The Pirates hit the road Thursday to play at Odin.
Tonight, the SC Falcons take on Sigel on the road, Raccoon plays at Selmaville.
Junior High Girls Basketball
The Lady Rockets of Selmaville dropped a close game to Woodlawn 31-27 trailing by 16 points with 3 minutes left in the game before running out of time. Allie Hustedde had 11 in the loss and Alan Finney added 7. Woodlawn won the JV game 34-19. Shelby Johnson led Selmaville with 6.
