Lady Bobcats Drop Extra Inning Game At Olney
Franklin Park dropped a tough one to Olney on the road 10-9 in 8-innings. Salem trailed 5-0 early, battled back to get within an out of winning before Olney’s comeback. Mya Russell had 3 hits and scored 3 runs, Quinn Wolfe drove in 1 and scored 2, Kendall Zimmerman added 2 runs with RBI also from Brylee Pennypacker and Reagan Shuler.
Selmaville Wins 11th Game With Shutout Over Patoka
Selmaville is in action this afternoon at Sandoval. The Lady Rockets are coming off a 14-0 win over Patoka yesterday. Allie Hustedded had 2 hits including a triple and scored 3 runs. Allie Cavins had 2 hits and 3 RBI and Alana Finney added a double and 2 runs scored. Samara Simmons reached base safely 3 times and scored twice. Keira Meredith notched her 10th win of the season tossing a 1 hitter with 11 strikeouts and just 1 walk. Selmaville is 11-6 on the year.

Rome Still Unbeaten With Win On 8th Grade Night
Rome improved to 15-0 with a win over St Mary’s 14-0. Taylor DeSmith was the winning pitcher allowing no runs and no hits with 8 strikeouts in 3 innings of work.
SC Wins Effingham IESA Regional
The SC Lady Falcons won the IESA Effingham Regional beating St Anthony 14-2. Maddi Peddicord tossed a 1-hitter striking out 11. She also singled and drove in a run. Addy Ruholl also had an RBI along with Annie Ruholl, Brianna Buchanan had 4 hits and 3 RBI, Jamalyn Logan drove in 3 runs with 3 hits including a double, Kinley Swift singled home 2 runs and Kennah Hiestand singled. SC improved to 18-5 and will head to the Hutsonville Sectional on Saturday to play at 11am against Dieterich.
