Wildcats Win Dual At SCC
The Salem Wildcat golfers hosted Olney and came away with a 157-171 win at the Salem Country Club. Jairen Stroud shot 35 and was match medalist. Cale Harris added a 39, Logan Lockhart 41 and Matt Slover 42. Olney was led by Alex Nealis with a 39. Salem is 6-1 on the season and will travel to Flora today.
The Lady Cats will compete at the Olney Invitational.
COR 4th In Quad Match
Christ Our Rock competed at Oak Brook on the East Nine. Father McGivney came away with the team win shooting 172, Metro East Lutheran 199, Maryville Christian 219 and Christ Our Rock shot 224. John Rincker led the Stallions with a 46, Ajay Quick 54, Blake Kleiboeker 56 and Tim Meyer 68. Joey Hyten of McGivney was medalist shooting 38.
Christ Our Rock will take on Vandalia and Litchfield at Governor’s Run.
Breese Central got edged out in a triangular at Bent Oak. Mater Dei shot 153, Central 157, Nashville 171.
