Lady Cats VB Drops To 0-3
The Salem volleyball team dropped to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the Cahokia Conference with their home opening loss to Breese Central 14-25, 17-25. The JV is 1-2 with an 8-25, 13-25 loss. The Freshman also lost in two sets 13-21, 20-21 and are 2-1. Salem continues to play at home tomorrow night when they host Freeburg.
Lady Cougars Over .500 With NTC Win
SC improved to 5-4 with a 25-15, 25-14 win over Dieterich. Brooklyn Garrett finished with 6 kills and 4 digs, Sierra Arnold had 8 digs, Brooke Cowger finished with 4 blocks and Rayna Hall had 6 aces. Olivia Brauer led in assists with 8. The JV also won 25-11, 25-16 to improve to 4-1 on the year.
