The golfers from Salem won a triangular match at Bent Oak in Breese scoring 160 edging out Central’s 162 with Okawville also competing. Jairen Stroud led Salem with a 36, Hunter Russell added a 40, Logan Lockhart 41 and Cale Harris 43. Alem is 4-0 on the season and will play Saturday at Indian Springs in the Litchfield Panther Tournament.
Salem also played a JV match against Central losing 194-191. Rhett Detering led Salem with a 42, Levi Young added 48 with Kyler Sapp and Luke Young adding 52s.
Christ Our Rock dropped their triangular match at Greenview Golf Club with Father McGivney shooting a 164, Ramsey 193 and then the Stallions 204. Christ Our Rock junior Parker Boehne was match medalist shooting 35 with John Rincker adding 50, Ajay Quick 54 and Blake Kleiboeker 65. McGivney was led by Joey Chouinard 41, Riley Knobloch 42 and Brandon Reed 43. Ramsey got a 45 from Bryce Gillock.
