Lady Bobcats Earn Rout At Aviston On The Road
The Franklin Park softball team beat Aviston on the road 17-0. Abigail Thompson struck out 3 and allowed 1 hit. Reagan Shuler had 3 RBI, Quinn Wolfe added 2 on a double. Emma Lipe, Thompson and Allison Thurman added an RBI each. The Lady Bobcats will be on the road at Vandalia.
Also today, Odin is at Mt Vernon/St Mary.
SC Shuts Out Sandoval
SC beat Sandoval 15-0. Maddie Peddicord was the winning pitcher allowing just 2 hits, both Adilee Nolte singles. For SC, Peddicord, Addy Ruholl, Jamaylyn Logan and Annie Ruholl each drove in 2 with RBI also from Brianna Buchanan, Baylee Brown, Makayla Butts, Emmie Ruholl and Kennah Hiestand. SC is 9-4 and will play at Patoka tomorrow. Sandoval is at home against Opdyke today.
Trinity/St Mary Beats Patoka
Trinity/St Mary Defenders improved to 4-0 with a 17-2 win over Patoka. Emrie Quick was the winning pitcher going 4 innings giving up 3 hits while striking out 10. Quick was 3-3 at the plate with a double and 4 RBI. Rylie Neuhaus had 2 hits and 2 RBI with 3 runs, Reese Koester had a double and scored twice, Raylynn Parker had a hit and RBI. The Defenders will travel to Mt Vernon to play Summersville today.
