The Salem 11u Little League All Stars, fresh off their dominant District 1 championship, will head to Beardstown this weekend for the Section Tournament. Coach Joby Bryan’s squad surrendered only 3 runs in 3 District Tournament games and will look to keep that good play going up north.
Salem will play in the round robin format at 1pm against Champaign East the District 2 champs, the winner playing Beardstown at 3pm and the loser of the first game playing them at 5pm. The games will be played at Schmoldt Memorial Park. The top 2 teams will advance to the State Tournament.
