The Salem 10u Wildcats dropped their District title game at Lawrence County to Olney 18-4.
The Cats offense outhit Olney 12-6, but they couldn’t overcome 20 walks. Devin Jennings 2h including a double with a run, Emit Gibson a double, run and 2 RBI, Tanner Purintun 3 hits and 2 RBI, Jacob Butts and Eli Purdy had a hit, Isaak Knaap had 3 hits and EJ Wolfe added a hit and 2 runs.
Olney advances to the Salem Sectional to be played this Saturday. It will be a 3-team round robin with the top 2 teams headed to State.
