Peoples National Bank knocked off the Salem Elks in the Pony League Tournament championship by a final score of 6-2. Brody Collier singled home a run, Keytin Grawe scored twice, Cam Carmichael also had a hit and run, Ben Ryan added 2 hits. Collier was the winnin pitcher allowing 7 hits and 2 runs with 3 strikeouts. In the loss for Elks, Brayden Wood and Jaret Gibson had RBI, Jarret Rushing went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and Silas Lux added a hit along with Anthony Wilborn.
In the boys coach pitch tournament semifinals, Gold Link beat Jerold Henson 10-9 in six innings. In the win for Gold Link, Jaxon Rector had 2 doubles and 3 runs, Braxton Harris had 3 hits and 2 runs scored including the winning run, Carson Hanson had 3 hits including the winning RBI and Easton Keller had 3 hits and scored 3 runs. In the loss for Henson, Easton Henson had 2 hits and 2 runs, Coen Dasch scored 2 times on 3 hits. The championship game is tomorrow night at 6:45 between Route 50 Auto Repair and Gold Link and Diamond Center.
In girls coach pitch tournament play, All State beat Landers 20-0. Julianna Rushing had 5 hits to help All State in the win. Abbi Haines, Briah Henseler, Rushing, Gwen Goostree, Graci Green, Alexis Henseler, Ally Pryor and Adalyn Reynolds each had multiple hits.
