The SC 14u Storm Chasers split their double header on the road at Teutopolis yesterday dropping the opener 9-8. SC led 8-5 heading into the bottom of the 7th but Teutopolis plated 4 runs to win. Ian Jones and Brody Collier drove in 2 runs each with RBI also from Colton Shelton, Cody Beard, Chase Guerrettaz and Hunter Horn. Braden Rector doubled and scored twice. Trevan Sidwell took the loss going 5 innings allowing 6 hits and 5 runs, but only 1 of those were earned as he struck out 8.
SC scored 5 runs in the 2nd and 4 more in the 4th as they won the nightcap 13-8. SC got 2 RBI each from Jones, Shelton, Rector and Horn. Beard also added a hit, 4un and RBI and Colton Rogers walked. Jones was the winning pitcher going 3.2 allowing 5 hits and 8 runs, 4 earned with 9 strikeouts. Colton Shelton struck out all 4 batters he faced.
