The South Central Storm 14u had a long weekend with 6 games at the Semo State Tournament in Cape Girardeau.
SC made it to the championship undefeated, and even after dropping the first title game 7-6, SC won the “if needed” game to win the title 13-2 over the Sullivan Xplosion. Katelyn Nalewajka went 3-3 and drove in 3 for the Storm who also got 3 hits from Ella Watwood.
SC opened tournament play Saturday with 3 wins, beating the Semo Rampage 9-2, SI Freedom 11-8 and Semo Revolution 14-0. Sunday to get to the championship, the Storm beat Team Mascoutah 12-1.
